Accessorize Lovely Day Palette

Hey Everybody,

Recently with starting my own blog and everything I really wanted to grow my make up collection. One of the easier and more cost effective ways of doing this is buying palettes. Whilst I was Christmas present shopping for other people on the accessorize website I couldn't help myself when I saw this palette to treat myself (if I don't do that enough already). Lovely Day palette is from accessorize ( £9.00 - accessorize.com), its a 32 colour eyeshadow palette which can create neutral eyes to give that understated natural look, or colourful and playful looks to bring out your young side and Dark, smoky, smouldering look for your dark side.

The palette contains both matte, satin and frost shades which is always a bonus in my eyes. Also I love that it contains both neutrals and colours so the looks you can create are literally endless with this palette. All the eye shadows have fantastic pigmentation, buttery soft and are not at all chalky.

F= Frost, M=Matte, S= Satin

The lovely Day palette is very dupable (is this even a word? ha ha). Theres a lot of dupes for mac eyeshadow Ive found but theres probably loads more for all the other eye shadows.

Hi guys,

Recently Ive been wanting to get more makeup brushes but I didn't want to spend a fortune. I had heard that crown brushes where good quality and not very expensive so I decided to buy myself some.

The first one I got was the C439 Deluxe Round Buffer. I swear Ive seen everyone using a buffer brush to apply their foundation on in you tube land. Not to be one to be left behind when i saw this one on the crown brushes website i decided to get it and it was reasonably priced at £13.99. I absolutely love this brush it applies my foundation so quick and easy and doesn't leave any streaks. The brush is so soft and really dense and its made with synthetic hairs so it doesn't aborbs so much product.

C436 Mini Duo Fibre Blender Brush (£6.99) this brush is very soft ( I feel this is going to be repeated without this ) and excellent for blending. I got this brush to blend out cream products.

BK38 Deluxe crease brush (£3.34) well can anyone have two many crease brushes ( I think not ha ha). This brush is incredibly soft and blends away any harsh lines with ease. The hair of the brush is made with natural Italian badger hair, so for those who only like using synthetic haired brushes I would give this one a miss.

I initially got the C160-1/4" Angle Liner (£2.28)  brush to use on my eyebrows however when I received it, it was way to small for what I wanted to use it for. But after a little play around with it I found it to be really great at getting a precision line when used in conjunction with a gel eyeliner product. The hairs on this brush are synthetic.

I really do like crown brushes I think there good quality at a reasonably price. Have you tired out any crown brushes ?
